Teachers Attend PMLF Symposiums

PMLF periodically sponsors special symposiums for elementary school teachers in Hawaii. These are setup in conjunction with the state Department of Education during the summer, with the purpose of helping educators themselves better understand the ocean environment, the marine animals who live there and the value of early ocean study. The programs are typically held at Hilton Waikoloa Village. In time, PMLF hopes to bring them to new communities.
